Buki Koshoni

AI Filmmaker application media pack.

This page is my application media pack for AI filmmaking roles. Every still and every film here is AI work I created myself: cinematic stills, prompt-led iteration, and motion studies, built with the same discipline as my RAW Art campaign practice.

All images and videos on this page were created by Buki Koshoni using AI.

[Why this work]

The tools are new. The craft is old.

AI filmmaking roles ask for someone who already thinks in lighting, lens language and frame intention, then learns the model around that eye. That is how I work: I compose AI stills as if they came off a real set, then iterate in Midjourney, Firefly, Kling, Runway and image-to-image until the frame lands. Every frame you see here is mine.

RAW Art is my campaign practice across photography, film and creative direction. That maps to day-to-day AI studio work: translate creative briefs into intentional AI frames, build reusable looks, and work with directors to keep every shot on-vision.

[Match to the brief]
  • Proven cinematography and photography portfolio: Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize finalist; GoSee Awards Gold Medal (presented by Rankin)
  • Working command of lighting and camera language across campaign, editorial and branded film
  • Hands-on AI image and motion tools: Midjourney, RunwayML, Adobe Firefly, Kling, Nano Banana and image-to-image pipelines
  • Strong written communication from years of briefs, treatments and campaign direction
  • London-based, available ASAP, right to work in the UK

AI still series I created for AI filmmaker applications: lighting, lens and iteration held constant across each look.

AI stills series

Sodium Hour

AI cinematic stills by Buki Koshoni · Lighting & lens-led prompting

A three-frame AI character study in warm sodium light: gala entrance, driver’s seat, neon lounge. Built by me to prove how key light, depth of field and wardrobe read as film, not illustration.

Outcome

Reusable look library for a male lead: consistent wardrobe, contrast and focal length across locations.

AI stills series

Mercedes Protocol

AI stills by Buki Koshoni · Midjourney · Firefly upscale · Nano Banana · Prompt iteration

One protagonist, one wardrobe language, many AI lighting passes against vintage Mercedes bodies. Daylight brick, headlamp night, colour-temperature shifts: the iteration loop of dialling frames until they feel shot on a set.

Outcome

A controlled lookbook of framing and lighting variants for the same character brief.

AI stills series

Ochre Horizon

AI editorial still by Buki Koshoni · Desert location design

Wide desert AI frame, mustard knit, bronze fastback. A study in horizon line, wind, and colour temperature: composition first, location second.

Outcome · Single hero AI still for a travel-fashion mood board.

AI stills series

Hall & Chrome

AI cinematic still by Buki Koshoni · Contrast & practicals

Formal hall, Dutch-portrait wall, chrome low-rider. Old-world gallery light against contemporary silhouette: intentional clash as narrative.

Outcome · Statement AI still for culture-led campaign framing.

AI stills series

Diamond Cut

AI high-resolution still by Buki Koshoni · Material & specular control

AI material study focused on specular highlights, micro-contrast and surface truth: the detail pass before motion.

Outcome · Reference AI still for texture and lighting fidelity.

[AI motion & short film]

Motion Projects

Press play. Sound on by default. AI motion proofs I created for this AI Filmmaker application pack.

AI short film

Bio Blade

AI filmmaking by Buki Koshoni · Grade & edit

A complete AI short I built from generated cinematic frames into timed motion. Sound on: picture, pace and cut working as film, not a slideshow.

Outcome · 82-second proof that still-led AI production can hold a narrative arc.

AI short film

Mother’s Hands

AI vertical film by Buki Koshoni · Intimate framing

Close, human, handheld-feeling AI vertical piece. Camera distance and gesture carry the story: the instinct AI filmmaking teams want before any prompt engineering.

Outcome · 59-second AI vertical film with full audio.

AI motion study

First Assembly

AI edit by Buki Koshoni · Timing · Sound

Assembly pass for a vertical AI sequence: rhythm, cut points and sonic bed locked for social and pitch environments.

Outcome · 47-second edited AI vertical with sound.

AI motion study

Signal Cut

AI motion by Buki Koshoni · Vertical framing

A sharp vertical AI motion cut focused on camera energy and subject lock, built to test whether generated motion still reads as directed.

Outcome · 25-second AI vertical motion study with sound.

AI motion study

Mirror Transfer

AI image-to-image by Buki Koshoni · Continuity

AI image-to-image continuity test: hold identity, wardrobe and lens while the world shifts around the subject.

Outcome · Square AI motion loop proving identity lock across generations.

AI motion study

Kling Drift

Kling 3.0 by Buki Koshoni · Camera move

Prompted AI camera move with intentional path and settling frame, treating the model like a virtual dolly, not a random morph.

Outcome · Landscape AI motion study with controlled camera drift.
